Since it is the end of the year 2012, I decided to make a little card in appreciation of all the wonderful bloggers that I have had the honor to meet this year through words and photos posted on WordPress. Because of you, I have been able to experience (in thought) beautiful people, places, and ideas from all around the world. I would not have been able to do this without you. I am so grateful that you acknowledged the writer/artist within you and took the time to share your visions and thoughts with me. Thank you.
I would also like to take this time to acknowledge the two awards that I was recently given.
On December 11, I was nominated for “The Versatile Blogger award by Secondhalfwoman.
Her blog is an interesting and thoughtful combination of poetry, musings, and photographs. As I am also a “second half woman,” I have visited her blog several times to see what’s new.
And then, on December 16—
I was kindly nominated for the “Very Inspiring Blogger Award” by Dear Kitty. This blog features a wide range of topics– “…On animals, peace and war, science, social justice, women’s issues, arts, and much more….”
Now I know that the “rules” that came with these two awards require nominations of 15 more people (ummm…now that would be 30) for each award. But I don’t know which ones to choose, because there are too many great blogs that deserve to be recognized.
So, please accept my homemade “end of the year” card in appreciation of the Writer/Artist within us all.
