In the morning light—
cold dark days of winter gone,
flowers blooming bright.
Colors everywhere
illuminating vision,
People stop and stare.
Winter lost its fight
melted by the Robin’s song,
spring is in the air! ~ms

I knew a lady who got very upset when someone sent her flowers while she was in the hospital. She said, “Are you trying to remind me of death while I am sick? These will be dead in just a few days. I don’t want to look at them. Take them away.”
I guess these beautiful flowers are our best reminders that life is short, and we should cherish each moment while we can. 🙂

Beautiful flowers! I especially like the daffodils – they’re the most forgiving of flowers to tend, and their bloom is a sure sign that sping has finally arrived. Looks like you had a great walk!

And now, back to work! 😉
Hmmmm, wait. I have always wondered.
What is the difference between play and work?
Some people get paid a lot of money to play baseball, football, golf…etc.
So, when does play become work?
When you get paid for it? Or….when it isn’t fun anymore?
Ooops. My mind is wandering off again. Can you hear it? I have to run and catch it. bye.

I’d say it’s work, when it isn’t fun anymore 🙂 That doesn’t happen too much for me, but I suppose we all have those days. Have a good day 🙂

Thank you.
My husband was not fond of cats either, when we first met. He had never been around them. But in the early 90s, I rescued a little Seal Point Siamese cat from a bad situation (when we were living in Mississippi)……and that cat warmed right up to him and eventually stole his heart.

I am deathly allergic to them too so I don’t think warming up to them will be an option 😉

Allergies to cats and dogs can be pretty miserable. I am only allergic to animals if they have been out rolling around in oak tree pollen. 😉

Just looked at your photo of the leaf stuck on the screen.
You have captured an “ordinary” leaf in an extraordinary moment.
Which basically proves…..there is no such thing as ordinary, when we pause and take a closer look ( and stop taking life for granted). I love your blog. 🙂
